As a nationally and internationally recognised measure of personal achievement the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is the ideal complement to the Scout Association’s own awards.
The Award is a big part of our 14+ programme for Explorer Scouts and members of the Scout Network.
We have a programme of monthly expedition training sessions through the year, culminating in the expeditions in the summer.
As a Scout Group we have an obvious opportunity for participants to complete the Volunteering section of the Award by working as Section Assistants or Leaders with the Beaver Scout Colony, Cub Scout Pack and Scout Troop.
