Group Camp @ Paccar

Over 80 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Leaders, Parents, Hangers-on etc. spent the Bank Holiday weekend at Paccar Campsite, Buckinghamshire. Scouts of all ages enjoyed a wide range of activities, including the high-ropes course, the rabbit-run, incident hike, archery and pioneering (not to mention a cub water-sports day on the Thames). We were also treated to the annual cook-off by Vasanthi and her team of chefs- Chicken curry and special Bolognese to die for! Sunday Night saw a ‘battle of the campfires’ against 1st City with special guest Marlon leading a brilliant evening’s entertainment. I think we showed them who’s boss… Round 2 at next year’s District Camp!
